Canvas: Masterpiece's Monet #12 unprimed cotton canvases
make it possible to control every aspect of the canvas surface
before applying the color. These canvases are stapled on
back for cleaner presentation and are re-stretchable on the same
size frame.
Winsor & Newton Regular Canvas: With the heavier 8 oz.
natural cotton duck and medium grain surface, this canvas is
ideal for any technique. Great for Oil (including water-mixable
Artisan Oils) acrylic and alkyd colours. You can
use this canvas to display finished paintings with or without a
frame.
Winsor & Newton Deep Edge
Canvas: Artists' Canvas Deep Edge from
Winsor & Newton features 1½" (38 mm) deep,
staple-free edges that can be painted to display finished
paintings with or without a frame. Manufactured using 8 oz
natural cotton duck, the medium grain surface is ideal for all
techniques, including heavier applications of color, and can be
used with oil, water-mixable oil, acrylic, and alkyd paints.
Winsor & Newton Universal
Packs: Winsor's ever-popular Universal canvas is
manufactured in 100% pure 7oz.cotton and double primed for oils
or acrylic. This is a traditionally made canvas and each one
comes with a set of wooden wedges for final stretching.
Fredrix Red Label
Medium-Textured Canvas: These canvases feature the finest
quality pure cotton duck, medium textured, and double-primed
with acid-free acrylic gesso for use with oil or acrylic
painting. All sizes larger than 24" x 36" include single or
double bracing for added support. Canvases are carefully stapled
on standard stretcher strips and have a ¾" profile.
Fredrix Green Label Linen
Canvas: This canvas is made with 100% Pure Belgian linen. It
is a fine, pure medium weight canvas, with a pronounced texture,
for use with oils or acrylics. The Fredrix Green Label
Canvas is acrylic titanium double-primed with acid-free smooth
ground. The canvas is stapled onto the back of standard
stretcher bars and has a ¾" profile. Paint on all
four edges and hang it with or without a frame.
Fredrix Gallery Wrap:
Fredrix Gallery Wrap Pre-Stretched Canvas is a line of stretched
canvas with the professional artist in mind. Each art canvas is
made from pure cotton duck canvas with a medium tooth.
This surface is ideal for work with traditional oil paint,
watersoluble oils, alkyds or acrylic. This treated canvas is
mounted to double thick heavy-duty stretcher strips that measure
1 ½" thick. These artist canvases are stapled on the back, which
leaves the sides available for continuing your composition or
for painting with a solid so you can skip the frame.
Masonite
Panels: The Art Box carries masonite panels
from Houston Art and Frame. These smooth, pre-primed,
tempered masonite panels are ideal for any oil or acrylic
project. The Art Box carries 11"x14, 12"x16" and
16"x20" panels.
Masterpiece B1 Heavy Duty Stretcher Bars:
B1 offers the best value
for Stretcher Bars on the market today. Made from solid kiln
dried Fir from the Pacific Northwest. Each Stretcher Bar is
machined under close tolerances to ensure a perfect fit. B1 is
straight, strong, and fits nicely together. B1 stretcher bar
dimension is 1 1/4" deep by 1 5/8" wide, and is ideal for
canvases up to 72"x72".
Fredrix Light Duty
Stretcher Strips: Fredrix Standard Stretcher Strips
feature tongue-and-groove design, each stretcher strip
measures 1 5/8" × 11/16" with a full 1/8" tapered lip for
maximum clearance. They are molded on modern woodworking
machines to ensure a smooth and tight fit. The Art Box
carries Fredrix stretcher bars from 8" to 46".
