This line exemplifies Caran d'Ache's commitment to producing high-quality artists' pencils-- their beautiful color products are among the favorites of Wet Paint staff & customers, and the brilliant step of a line exclusively dedicated to graphite is only logical.

GRAFWOOD: The cornerstone graphite pencil of the line. Fifteen beautiful gradations from 4H to one of the softest, blackest graphite pencils around, the 9B (!).

GRAFSTONE: The pure graphite, woodless version of the Grafwood, available in HB, 3B & 6B.

Koh-i-noor Graphite Pencils:

Toison D'Or: All of these pencils feature high opacity and clean erasing. Pencils are strong and durable with California cedar wood casing, enrobed in sleek black.

Progresso: Woodless pencils made of the finest Hardtmuth graphite for excellent laydown. Solid weighty feel. Lacquer-coated for comfort. Sharpens with standard sharpener. Choose from 8B, 6B, 4B, 2B, HB. Create a wide variety of unique effects.

Triograph:The 10.5mm Triograph Pencils feature a triangle-shaped grip for a relaxed feel while drawing.

Bruynzeel Watercolor Pencils: These Dutch watercolor pencils are a joy to use. The colors are rich and vibrant, and they flow easily onto the paper. Caran D'ache Water Soluble Neocolor II Crayons:   Neocolor II crayons are softer than colored pencils, denser than children's wax crayons, and extremely responsive to a wet brush. Wet and dry techniques can be combined in the same drawing. Because of their strong pigmentation, light colors cover dark colors and vice-versa.  Their excellent lightfastness, their high pigment concentration, and their adaptability to several techniques have helped to put them in a class of their own.  Try the sgraffito technique by scraping off one or more color layers to create an engraved effect. Neocolors are soft enough to smudge with fingertips, yet they are much firmer than oil pastels. Best of all, they are water-soluble.  The Art Box carries sets and open stock.

Koh-i-noor Woodless Colored Pencils: Koh-I-Noor woodless pencils have a smooth feel and excellent lay down properties preferred by professional artists. They have a weighty feel, which is ideal for drawing, coloring, and illustrating.  Each high-density pencil includes five times as much lead as a regular pencil. Prismacolor Art Stix: Get the ease of pastels without the mess with Prismacolor Art Stix. Art Stix have the same quality and formula as Prismacolor pencils. The smooth, rich, vibrant colors and soft, thick leads blend perfectly with pastel pencils and come in a variety of pigment-rich colors.  Art Stix work best on large areas of color such as foundations for layering. Stabilo Marking Pencils: Stabilo's soft, waxy leads mark on virtually any surface. This is not an artist colored pencil, for drawing and sketching, but rather a colored marking pencil.  Use it for writing in color on paper and other surfaces, even difficult surfaces like plastic, film, and mylar. It is also useful for correcting drafts and proofs, or marking layouts. This pencil is pre-sharpened.
